My name is Andrea Powers, and my path into energy healing has been anything but ordinary.

As a US Navy veteran and former biotechnology and supply-chain leader, my journey bridges a deeply practical life with a profound spiritual awakening.

I am a certified Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Master, intuitive healer, lifelong empath, and spiritual guide. While Reiki provided a formal framework for working with energy, my sensitivity to people, emotions, and the unseen world has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over time, I recognized that what I once thought of as heightened sensitivity was also connected to a deeper intuitive way of perceiving the world.

My intuitive gifts are primarily expressed through clairsentience, claircognizance, and clairvoyant impressions, as well as intuitive knowing and channeling through writing and meditation. I often receive information as bodily feelings, immediate knowing, symbolic imagery, or insights that arrive fully formed. These gifts are interwoven with my healing work, enhancing the way I listen, hold space, and respond intuitively to each person who comes to me.

My formal Reiki training significantly deepened that connection. I trained in the Usui/Holy Fire® tradition under the mentorship of a licensed Reiki Master teacher, where I learned not only the techniques of energy healing but also the crucial aspects of intention, integrity, meditation, and honoring energetic boundaries. My spiritual journey has taken me to sacred places around the world, experiences that have broadened my understanding of energy, consciousness, and our connection to something greater than ourselves.

For me, healing is not about “fixing” another person. I believe each individual carries innate wisdom within them. My role is to create a peaceful and supportive space where the nervous system can soften, energy can begin to flow, emotions can be acknowledged, and a person can reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have become quiet beneath the stress, grief, or demands of everyday life.

Every session I offer is deeply individualized. Some people seek out energy healing for relaxation and energetic balance, while others are navigating significant life transitions, emotional and  physical healing, spiritual awakening, or simply the feeling that something within them is calling for change. I approach each individual with compassion, curiosity, and respect for their beliefs and experiences.

My own journey has taught me that spiritual growth is rarely linear. It can be beautiful, uncomfortable, mysterious, grounding, and transformative all at once. This understanding shapes everything I do. I believe healing is often a process of remembering who we truly are beneath everything we learned we had to be.

Sanctuary of the Sacred Light was created with that intention: to offer a gentle space for healing, reflection, spiritual exploration, and profound reconnection.
