My name is Andrea Powers, and my path into healing has been anything but ordinary.

 A US Navy veteran and former biotechnology and supply-chain leader, my path bridges a deeply practical life with an equally profound spiritual awakening. 

I am a certified Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Master, intuitive healer, lifelong empath, and spiritual guide. While Reiki gave me a formal framework for working with energy, sensitivity to people, emotions, and the unseen world has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over time, I began to understand that what I had once experienced simply as heightened sensitivity was also connected to a deeper intuitive way of perceiving the world.

My intuitive gifts are expressed primarily through clairsentience, claircognizance, clairvoyant impressions, intuitive knowing, and channeling through writing and meditation. I often experience information as a feeling in the body, an immediate knowing, symbolic imagery, or insight that seems to arrive fully formed. These gifts are not separate from my healing work; they inform the way I listen, hold space, and intuitively respond to each person who comes to me.

My formal Reiki training deepened that connection considerably. I trained in the Usui/Holy Fire® tradition under the mentorship of a licensed Reiki Master teacher, learning not only the techniques of Reiki but also the importance of intention, integrity, meditation, energetic boundaries, and allowing healing to unfold without force. My spiritual journey has also taken me to sacred places around the world, experiences that have continually expanded my understanding of energy, consciousness, and our connection to something greater than ourselves.

For me, healing is never about “fixing” another person. I believe each of us carries an innate wisdom within us. My role is to create a peaceful, supportive space where the nervous system can soften, energy can begin to move, emotions can be acknowledged, and a person can reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have become quiet beneath stress, grief, change, or the demands of everyday life.

Every session I offer is deeply individualized. Some people come seeking relaxation and energetic balance. Others are navigating major life transitions, emotional healing, spiritual awakening, or simply the feeling that something within them is asking to change. 

I approach each person with compassion, curiosity, and respect for their own beliefs and experiences.

My own path has taught me that spiritual growth is rarely linear. It can be beautiful, uncomfortable, mysterious, grounding, and transformative all at once. That understanding shapes everything I do. I do not believe healing requires becoming someone new. More often, I believe it is a process of remembering who we were underneath everything we learned we had to be.

Sanctuary of the Sacred Light was created from that intention: to offer a gentle space for healing, reflection, spiritual exploration, and reconnection.

Whether we meet through Reiki, intuitive guidance, spiritual mentorship, or one of my future teachings, my hope is that you leave feeling more connected to yourself, more grounded in your own inner wisdom, and more supported as you move forward on your path.
